Celebrating a stylish life on 2 wheels – a review of the Australian TREADLIE magazine

A few days ago I received the first 2 editions of Australian cycle magazine TREADLIE, and what a pleasent read it is! The magazine looks at the many facettes of urban cycling – old bikes, new bikes, in any case very pretty bikes with bags of character. Rather than an overload of tech details, the articles dip into the details of some gear occasionally, so that relative cycle newbies should never be overwhelmed by any information overkill. The focus is not so much on the latest and fastest on the market, but rather on stylish bikes from the last few decades and how they blend in with their riders lifes.
And yes, the pictures are very nice indeed. TREADLIE is working with some of the finest photographers it seems, capturing bicycles, cyclists and landscapes in often brilliant pictures.

A shame the magazine is not easily available in the UK yet … for more information on how to order a copy, click through to the TREADLIE site…
